Attendance at the forthcoming Northern Bridge Summer School on Thursday 4 and Friday 5 June at the Great North Museum, Newcastle, is obligatory for PhD students funded through the AHRC Northern Bridge Doctoral Training Partnership.
There are thirty additional places for PhD students in the Arts and Humanities registered at Newcastle University, Durham University and Queen’s University Belfast who are not funded through Northern Bridge and also for Master’s students in the Arts and Humanities who are considering doctoral research.
Non-NB funded students must register in order to be able to participate and will be required to pay a non-refundable registration fee of £5 per day. Registration includes refreshments (lunch, teas and coffees). Places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. The organisers are not able to cover costs incurred in travelling to and from the venue. The Summer School is funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council and the Directors need to ensure that public money is spent responsibly. If, having registered, a student finds that they are unable to attend, they should inform Carole Allan immediately: firstname.lastname@example.org
Registration is open here (until Friday May 22nd): https://webstore.ncl.ac.uk/browse/extra_info.asp?compid=1&modid=2&deptid=9&catid=47&prodid=405
Please note that interested students should book a place at the event via the above link by Friday May 22nd at the latest.
